Smelling exhust or gas in the blowe vents???
this stated happening yesterday. (93 accord)
the day before i did a compression check and numbers came up good. I did unpluge the injectors so that i wouldn't flood my motor.... now when i turn the heat on i can smell gas or exhust fuems coimng from the AIR-VENTS!!!
WTF... i haven't done anything wrong. The smell is starting to **** me off.
*when the car is at a hult..... the smell getts worse.
what could it be????

most likely you are leaking gas from your injectors so you mite wanna fix it before driving around and your engine mite catch fire. hvae someone turn the engine on and check round the injectors to see if its leaking. hope that helps
If the rubber o-rings were dry rotted or old, you may have pinched or cracked one. They're probably leaking somewhere though.

how much are the parts @ honda ?
" where are the "O" rings located " .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ........................................sounds like this is the problem you may not have replaces the "O" rings with new ones. go get some and put them in My repair manual reads .............. quote" you must replace the fuel injector sealing "O" ring anytime the injector is removed" end quote

dame replace the "o-rings everytime the injectors are removed???"

BWT it was my oil cap!
i swear i put it on but some how it came off.

That happened to me before LOL. What a freakin mess...
OH YEAH.....i sear i put the oil cap on because when i did the compression test the other night i never took it off!
also the night before that i poped the hood to check everything and the cap WAS STILL THERE?
maybe it wasn't tight enough.... but how the **** is it suppose uncrew itself and come off!!!!!!!!!!!

oh well it fixed now... to bad i have to use my new JDM ITR oil cap
that I've been saving in the box for my civic setup...hehehThread
