These mats came in my CRX, I tracked down the owner and found out the mats came out of a JDM Prelude front clip, just wondering if these mats are Honda OEM or some aftermarket company:







Just took them out of my car, not sure what I'm doing with them yet... they will clean up pretty good.

 

Well they arent like the American ones, they miiiight be from Japan, but I have never seen any from there.

 

They are defintely not US 4th or 5th gen Prelude floormats... I don't know what earlier Prelude floormats look like.

edit: Yeah, I guess they are Japanese too... The cutout for the trunk/gas release is on the wrong side of the driver side floormat. They would not really fit a US car due to that...

those are most likely from a 4th gen, the 4th gen Prelude was the only one that had the word Prelude in script, with only the "P" capitalized, all the other models said "PRELUDE" all in capitals, in block letters

 

Agree with Boosted. No way those are Genuine Honda. There 4th Gen. They are only a few years old because of the anchor hole on the drivers mat.

Not that it matters, but I think the passenger mat has an anchor hole too, I only brought the driver's side in to photo.

 

Honda only installs anchors on the drivers mat for safety reasons.

Looks legit to me. The tag says Honda Access Corp. Which means if it by HA, then it was prolly an option for the jdm 4th gens.

 

Honda Accessories Corp ships worldwide. I suspect these are from either England or an english speaking part of southeast asia or even Australia. Those would normally be the only places with right-hand drive cars.
