215 45 16 fit ok without rubbing?

it comes with 215/45/16 re010s from the factory for a DC2R

 

mine came with 215-45-16 RE010.....

 

 

205/45/16 is good also and you may have more of a selection with that size than 215/45/16

 

Hey Scott,

Just to let you know that the favorite tire for that size is the AZENIS (215-45ZR16). With this tire at stock ride height, I've rubbed at full lock at times (50-70K miles). This tire runs wider than most, so be carefull if you choose this having a lowered R.

Thanks for the tip, I am expecting my wheels here shortly but wasnt sure if 215's would rub....now I know.

I was hoping to do this tire setup aswell, but my car is lowered....

 

FYI the RE010 215/45/16 are very narrow for a 215 tire. I measured them at 205mm mounted on JDM 16" (16x7) rims. So I imagine that there would be a big width difference between these and the AZENIS.

One tire I'd like to try is the JDM market 215/45/16 Potenza RE01. Sadly BS won't bring it to New Zealand.
