Okay I just put the motor in, let it warm up and it goes to 3/4 on the temp guage without the fan going on. Here is where I'm confused, the crx si harness has the two prong plug and a regular plug for the two thermosensors(what it's called in crx chilton's manual). On the b20, there are two regular plugs, one for the engine coolant temperature sensor and one for the ect switch(According to Integra helm's). Are these the same sensors? If so, which plug goes on thermostat cover and which goes on the head? TIA

i had this problem also, but if the two are crossed, u should get a code 6, which is ect, but if u switch them, it shouldnt throw a code, then it is correct.. good luck..

 

whats your fuel pressure at? b20 needs gsr or higher fuel pressure

 

Not sure, I'm using a b16a fpr. Do you know if that's at gsr fuel pressure levels?

 

i dunno... i used a b&m to bump mine up 10 psi (was running lean) to 45

 

how did you know you were running lean?

 

make sure u bled the cooling system properly, air is the devil to cooling systems

 

sup guys, im doing the b20z/vtec swap and im using the b16a head for the vtec, anyway what timing belt can i use. i got the 99 civic si timing belt, but u think its the crv? or is it some other belt?

It all depends what waterpump your using. If your using the stock b20 waterpump then you use the b20 timing belt. If you use b16a, b18c, b18c5 waterpump then you use GSR timing belt. I am not 100% sure this is right but this is just what i read. Someone back me up if im wrong.
