Greddy makes the same exact thing. Only a better name that I would trust though.

Looking at a couple places, I saw this about the Greddy:

(*NOTE: Use of 1985-1987 Toyota Corolla GTS oil filter required.)
Is this true or is just part of some sloppy copy & paste job for the Toyota version by Greddy?

These are a great idea. Sooner or later the "T's" will crack or break. If it happens at the wrong time, it can cost you a motor.

i wouldnt guarantee that greddy is a better name always. sometimes mass produced parts arent of the same quality.dont think you cant improve soemthing that greddy has made.by the way AC Autotechnic is a major sponsor of the jotech civic. I doubt its not of high quality.

Just got my AC distro block. The two ports on the flat end don't seemed to be tapped very well so I cant thread the plugs in more than a couple threads. I can get the plugs on the side in with no problem hand threading them. The seal on the back is removable so if it's leaking I guess you can rig something up with a seal off an oil filter. Quality seems to be decent, and I didn't get the Greddy because nobody could answer my question about the Corolla oil filters so screw it. I'll let you guys know if I discover any leaks and such after installing.

Oh yeah you can also see my oil feed line, which for some reason isn't threaded on the inside of the right angle fitting.

Does the oil get filtered before it goes through those lines first?

I use the Greddy Oil Block for my B16 Turbo Setup. About using the 85 - 87 GTS filter. My B16 oil filter is considerably bigger than the 85 - 87 Corolla but still fit snug on the adapter plate along with no leaks compared to the 85 - 87 Filter. I've used both filters and felt safer using the B16 mainly because it's still a B16 and the size(Bigger seems to have longer filtration life, unless someone can prove me wront). The only difficulty you add when using a B16 filter is you have less clearance with the firewall making it harder to pulled the filter out and with the 85 - 87 Corolla filter I didn't have this problem.

I've seen the AC filter block sold for much less even w/o a groupbuy. Nice part though.

For the AC block.........I think last time I looked around Autodynamic had it for $59.95 plus shipping. That still comes out less than $75 shipped on this GB.

I don't see why not, that's why I went out and bought the Greddy Block. It would be much cleaner install and efficient as well as safer then using a T. That's only my opinion, if I'm wrong, I don't mind being corrected
