I have an 01 GS with i/e and im puttin in a 4-1 header to componste for the ls's lack in high end. I was wondering if i should just go with the DC Sport header or the 2.5" piping on the JDM. Ive heard from different people that the JDM piing could hurt but im ot seeing it? Just let me know what you guys think.

well, from what i know the JDM DC will give you more power. in an ITR it makes more power than the OEM 4-1. only bad part is that it hangs really low, so if your car is slammed you might want to avoid it. a friend of mine has a 99 LS and had the JDM DC 4-1. he's lowered on H&R sport (1.75"f/2"R) and tokico illuminas. he tried to avoid something sticking out of the road but it still destroyed the header.

 

Ya I have he same set up with my suspension. It i know it will make huge gains with the gsr motor or the ITR but i wasnt sure about the B16B1 motors. Thanks
