JDM DC 4-1 header Skid plate?
Well im leaning on the ITR 4-1 only because i can get a skid plate for them....but would love to get the dc cuz of cost...does anyone know if anybody makes a skid plate for the dc 4-1 ???
Itll be a waste to get the 2.5 collector and have the damn header all bent to hell....so just wondering
Thanx

I would love to get one of those. My JDM DC is bent to hell! I need a new one, but if I do by another jdm dc I would want to protect it from getting flattened again.

well if you guys would stop slamming your cars you wouldn't have a problem screwing up your parts...

it only works on the oem jdm itr header - it has brackets welded to it that the skidplate bolts right into. my skid plate has taken several hits since install, mostly due to street imperfections, driveways, debris. i don't think it's caught anything on the track, for which it was originally intended.

Would it be possible/expensive to weld some brackets on the JDM DC 4-1 similar to those on the JDM ITR 4-1...so the skidplates would fit?

I have had a JDM ITR hader for about six month's and it has not even hit the ground yet. Is it really that big a problem?
I have a 92 civic with GC's and a Skunk2 camber kit that is maxed out so you get a idea of how low it is.

HAHAHAH no ****. That's why I raised my car back up. Now I'm just trying to prevent more acts of riceboy-slamming!
tucking tire is cool and all but tucking my header into the ground sucks.
and FWIW... I was always fine... until I had passengers... then BAM!
Buy my dented/scraped header!

Yes...
...it will hold up.
We have original prototypes that have been on for over 2 years and are still kicking ***. There are also many customers who bought them when we first released them 1yr 9months ago who have no complaints.

Well...
...when you overengineer something, it will always hold up.
NRG-racing, one of our dealers, had a customer come in and JUMP UP AND DOWN on one of our skid plates. Let's just say the guy wasn't exactly "skinny".
Take a guess who bought one that day?
