Default speaker rattle? WTF?

Installing some new speakers in my Hype R, ran into a slight problem. running a sony ES head unit, and a alpine V12 amp, one of the speakers will buzz like crazy when it is on......thought the speaker was bum, so we hooked up a new one, same story. wiring problem maybe? this one has me stumped

thanks,
rob

Flip the RCAs at the amp and see if the buzz changes sides. Also, don't tighten the speaker down all the way and see if it clears up.

SP has a good idea, also try changing the input from left to right...

If its on the left side move it to the right side and see if the sound is still there, visa-versa on other words try it with a different source of power.

You can try installing rubber washers in between the speaker and the slot to dampen the vibration. Dynomats, don't think this would help much though since it's the actual speaker that is vibrating.
