Default Lost traction or clutch slipping?

i was doing the ol' 1-2 tonight and when i hit 2nd and dumped the clutch and it felt like the tires spun but i didnt hear the arousing sound of my tires chirping? I hit 3rd and heard a slight chirp. I dont know whats going on. It felt like a bit of wheel hop too since my tires were kinda cold. I did it a couple of more times and i heard the tires chirp. My clutch has almost 70k miles on it but it seems to be catching fine. Is there something wrong here or am i just being 'noid?

You're being paranoid, just cause you don't here the chirp doesn't mean the tires aren't spinning.

To "test" the clutch: from a stand still, drop the clutch in 3'rd or 4'th. The car will either stall (good), or the clutch will slip (bad).

OT: whats with all the chirping threads lately?

it's the birds who have begun to realize migrating south is too much of a hassle, so instead they reside inside the engine bay of unexpecting itr owners
