Default wastegate problem...

Hey guys, we just finished my turbo kit install last night and I took it for a spin for the first time today. I have a tial wg .45 bar and when I floor the car, my greddy boost gauge goes up to .7 bar I'm not using a boost controller and I have no idea why it is boosting more than .45. I'm not dyno tuned yet until tomorrow and i'm already nervous as hell running 7psi, much less 10.5! The only things I can think of is that we ran three components off the fpr vacuum source: tial wg, greddy bov, and my boost gauge. Also, I am running open dp until tomorrow morning where I will have my 3" exhaust installed. I'm going to put about 250 miles on my car tomorrow so I would really like to have this figured out, any help would be appreciated.

Edit: here's my setup
t3/t4 .63 AR 50 trim turbo
Drag 3 mani
Drag 3 dp
tial wg
greddy bov
greddy ic piping
afc & 450 dsms
pwr intercooler
greddy boost gauge
greddy egt gauge

Well according to the tial wg directions that i have infront of me it says to run the vacuum source to the intake manifold before the throttle plate. So that may be your problem.I have mine run off of my charge pipe. Also i heard the drag manifold will cause a little bit of boost creep (1-2psi) and the open downpipe will definatly cause the boost to creep up....so re-route your vacuum source, hook your dp up to your exhaust and see how it runs.
I also have a tial wg with a .45 bar spring and a drag manifold.I've yet to get on it all the way to redline in any gear other then 1st so i cant say definatly but my boost stops at 7psi and hold steady....i'll try it on the freeway to see if it creeps any further.Thats where it would creep on me before with the internal wg.
So once everything is hooke up you should see 8psi or less...

try running one off of the intake manifold source or if your turbo has a vaccum line source on the compressor side then run one of there. That's what they reconmmend you to do but some turbo's don't have that. So try either of those and you should be fine.

Your problem is the open downpipe with the drag manifold.

Same thing happened to my freinds kit, when I did the install he had to run open down pipe cause we had no welder on hand. He was spinking to like a little over 10psi with the same wastegate you have so thats more then likely what it is.
