LS = 4-2-1
GS-R/ITR = 4-1

4-2-1 for low end
4-1 for top end (VTEC)

IMO...

It depends on what you want for the car. I just installed a DC JDM 4-1 on my LS and it pulls hard from 4k all the way to redline.

I have a DC 4-1 on my LS and it pulls much harder on top end compared to before. LS motors obviously lack top end power so the 4-1 is what it needs to pull harder closer to redline.

I've seen this question so many times. I honestly think it does not matter. Does anyone have dyno slips to prove 4-1 is better than 4-2-1 visa versa?

The 4-1 sounds like what i need to compansate for my lacking in high end but should i go with the JDM 2.5" piping or the regular dc sport header?
