trying to paint my wheels...need help
I have a set of 13in. wheels on my car, that were painted before I got them...they are red and black, but underneath is gold...look similar to panasports, I want to pain them flat black, or gunmetal, but I'm having trouble getting paint to stick, any tips on removing old paint, and basically what's the BEST way to do it? For the least amount of money(I only paid 80 bux for these)
is it possible to do all this with the tires still on the wheels? These are my only set of wheels too...

Unfortunately, I cannot answer your specific question, at least there are no methods I want to state to take the paint off. Too worried about having a chemical actually corrode and weaken the composition of the metal.

Well I've started and DAMN, that aircraft paint stipper works AWESOME!! I'm going to paint them gunmetal so I'll post pics when I get them done...Thanks everyone for your help!
