Default Newbie has quick header question

Hey guys I'm new to the board and I just got a quick question....My next purchase is gonna be 4-2-1 DC headers and I want the chrome one's for show purposes...just wondering if there were any differences in power gains between the chrome and the ceramic coated headers..... thx for any help

Also anybody in the Tampa Bay area go to any tracks around here(i.e. Bradenton or Lakeland)???

I believe the ceramic runs cooler than the polished...

Sadly greddy doesn't make a header for the 5th gen.

IMO, buying a header is a waste of money. Look at the DC header and your stock, they are about the same size piping. All you're really paying for is the name. You may gain 1-2hp, but that not even worth the $300 you spend. I say use that money for a V-AFC controll (VTEC controller)

get the ceremic header.. cause polished one will look like *** onece you have on there and drive it for about a week.. and DC headers do make a difference.. the piping might be the same. but it flows way better look a stock header and DC heater.. you will seee....

I would look into a kamikaze header, before DC kamikaze is cheaper too....I have heard nothing but bad things about the DC.

some dyno tests show the DC cost hp vs. the stock header.

D who put a header on the bottom of his too buy list..
