I've been searching d16z6 and damn there are alot of threads. Does anyone know of a web site for dropping a d16z6 into a 88 crx. I would perfer a site where the used an si but it doesn't matter. How much more of a pain is it than compared to a zc swap? Thanks for any info

 

I did a d16y8 swap in my 90 CRX Si, um direct plug n play.. except the fact i had to swap my <u>90 CRX Si:</u> ECU, Distributor, Intake Manifold, Injectors, all motor mounts and 1 wire to the vtec selonoid for V-AFC... ran good for a day or 2 then blew up?? I dunno what happened? bottom end GONE..

I wouldnt have to swap anything over to the y8 if I converted my harness to OBD1or2 and had p28 Ecu. I still thought my car kicked *** for the short time it lived.. whooped a modded VW Beetle 1.8T.

 

its direct plug and play as long as you have all the obd 2 parts
