my 2000 GSR has a salvage title, I bought it directly from a salvage yard and salvaged it myself. went through that whole inspection process, paperwork, and part hunting. I wouldn't do it again. Car looks and feels great & I save thousands of $$, but it's a bitch trying to sell a salvaged titled car.
after seeing the entire process, I would think twice about buying a salvage titled car cuz there is so much room to lie about what the car has "Really" been through & carfax says my car is clean

I buy a **** load of cars with salvages. I dont have a problem selling my cars just need to wait. Recon titles are salvage titles that has been inspected and giving that title. Title is exactly what it is, reconstructed

Can't you clear a salvaged car's title at the dmv with all the appropriate parts receipts?
I had a salvaged 98 Integra GS. The car was perfect in every way.. just can't get the title clean again. Buyers have a right to know the car history..

Miy old 96 GSR had a salvage title. CarFax also said that my car was clean.
