Default Hesiation

When i start my 97 and go it has atendency to hesitat or bog down and not wanna go any faster no matter how hard i hit the gas. I know this as of now: my clutch is not slipping, my air fuel ration is stioc, my volts are above 14. Now i think it may be in either my computer, internal engine, or even maybe my catlytic ocncerter cause peole complain if my car stinking when i get on it so i plan on chaging that but havent found a good band yet. Ill have to ask in a new opic or srach the forum for a good kind og high flow cat and heade. BUT im hoping i dont have to tear apar that mtor again. Thanks

Tear apart the motor again? Why? Check your timing and fuel pressure for starters.

just take it down to your local dealer or autozone and have them run a few tests.

I know people hate the dealers work and blah blah blah, but they do help.

all external possiblities have been checked so it has to be inside or a possible electrical glitch i hope

If you have eliminated all external possibilities, I'd check the ECU. Maybe try swapping it out for a known good one.

F23ARacer its called money and i have avery limited supply so unless you wanna fund my swap i think i would have thought of tat by now. Plus i wanna build my first motor with my own hands to the extent of things that can only be done by the dealerships. Experience is key in succes.

check your O2 sensor.. might need a new one and your cat might be clogged which is causing that bad odor..
