Default vtec changeover?

my vtec used to open between 5000-5300 and about two days ago it now opens at 5800 or sometimes 6000. wat do u guys think is wrong or is it normal? o yeah i just change my oil yesterday but it now repeatedly opens at 5800. any info would be good to hear.

vtec=4400
secondaries=5700-5800

secondaries=5700-5800
Don't be an *******. Everyone learns sometime. I'm sure you asked someone at somepoint.

Anyway. You could have been low on oil which could have caused the early engaugement. Usually low oil, vtec won't engauge at all.

i dont kno why u guys are surprise that his secondaries open around at 5300 rpms?
maybe because u havent experienced that doesnt mean it cant do it. i kno a couple of people that have a gsr and their secondary vtec opens around 5500.
change ur oil or get a tune up.
