Ok, well the day has come that I need to sell my hatch. I really don't want to, but I can't afford a car and a truck, and I need some place to put my bike, and something that I will want to do other stuff to, other than just making it stupid fast (because I have no control of my right foot ).

So anyways, this is what I got...

96 Del Sol Seats (All black, in mint condition)

Alpine Cd player with Boston Acoustics (sp?) speakers front and rear

I think thats about it for mods that I can think of.

There are the normal dings here and there. There is also about a 6 inch crease on the passenger side door (from a deer ), a small dent on the driver side fender (friend leaned on it, may be able to push it out more), and the front bumper is scratched and has a crack in it (racoon, deer, squirrel )

All of this can be fixed and is not that bad at all. It's just that I am a broke teenager and all the body shops around here want to charge like $250 just to paint a bumper that I take down to them and pick up. And I don't have the skills to paint it myself yet.

I have a brand new unpainted (black) front bumper that I will throw in with the car. I also have a bunch of other spare/stock parts lying around that I can include.

There is no ac in the car right now, but I have the entire system (which worked perfectly when I pulled it when I did the swap). It would just have to be thrown back in and recharged.

I am hoping to be getting some really cool JDM goodies that I can maybe include with the car in the next week or so, but I have to see if that all works out.

I am trying to be as straight up with you guys as possible because I don't want anyone to get something that they didn't expect with the car. If you check out my profile, I have been registered a long time now, but I just don't post much.

The car runs very well and I have tried my best to take very good care of it. I have run it down the 1/4 mile a total of 3 times at sacramento raceway. It ran a best of 15.66 with the stock exhaust and no cat (read: pea shooter). The car also gets about 35+ mpg on the highway, and 30 or so in the city. It probably actually gets better gas mileage, but I has been several months since I filled up the tank twice in a row.

I don't have any pictures really right now, but I will try to see if I can maybe get a hold of a digi cam or something soon (plus its raining a lot ).

I am asking 6000 or best offer, and I am willing to drive a ways to meet someone if you are seriously interested in the car. (I am actually really busy lately, so please don't make me drive all around unless you want to buy the car ) I am willing to work with the price, and I may even be able to swap back in some stock stuff to drop the price down more as well.

Ehh I doubt he has a chance to get that kinda $$ even in Cali. figure about half that price would be reasonable. Who knows.. A lot of kids are all over Eg's for that $$ you can get a 93 Prelude Vtec. Good Luck

 

Ouch guys, that hurts. Ok, I understand that I am most likely not going to get 6 grand for the car. Thats why I said that I was willing to negotiate, and I didn't writie anywhere that this price was firm or anything. Plus you also have to realize that I have about 1k in spare parts that I am willing to throw in, and another probably 500-1000 dollars in JDM body parts that I am trying to get. There are also kids in my area that are willing to pay 10k for a automatic civic sedan that only has a cool paint job, a horribly installed/cracked kit, and an exhaust.

And in no way am I trying to rip people off here guys. I have told you what is up with the car. Its not like I am saying that its the cleanest car you have ever seen in the world with special JDM windows and muffler bearings. I am being honest with you all, and I am just trying to get the money I need to pay back my parents and get myself a truck to drive so that I can go to work.

So if you all don't want to buy it for 6k, that's cool, I understand. Make me an offer if you want. I already have an offer for 4800 that I am waiting to hear back from today.

But anyways, sorry for my add offending you all. If this explination doesn't satisfy you guys well enough, I'll just go ahead and delete the add.
