Rear Brakes Clicking
It seems that my rear brakes make a clicking noise every now and then. It happens usually whenever I'm driving and stop for a stopsign or light. I'm positive its coming from the back but have no idea why this is happening. Anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?
If you didn't use the shims on the stock pads, or if you have aftermarket pads, the clicking could be the pads shifting slightly in the caliper because it isn't an absolutely perfect fit - in which case it's nothing to worry about.

mine click a little, especially when going from forward to reverse or vice versa. Probably my pads shifting slightly because they don't have a pin on the backing plate like stock pads. If you don't have any unusual wear and everything works fine, so its probably nothing to worry about.
I haven't touched my brakes b4 and I'm pretty sure they are stock. What should I look for whenever I examine them? I was planning on changing the pads pretty soon, so should this problem go away if I do?
