are these black jdm srds or just black srds with recaro written in large white writing?

to clear up some confusion, usdm recaros are called srds. the jdm recaros that come stock on ctrs and itrs are called SR-II's and SR-III's. the differences between jdm and us specs are that the us spec have the recaro writing above the plastic haress guide while jdm/euro specs say recaro below the harness guide. also on jdm/euro specs sr-II's, the letters that spell out "RECARO" are smaller then the US spec that says "RECARO" in big writing. also the us spec has adjustable lumbars on both sides. the jdm/euro specs that come oem stock have it only on one side. the US spec srds are also suppose to be slightly taller and wider the sr-II's. i hope this helps.

Very nice post, but I would like to add that the JDM Recaros are made of Mesh/Alcantara, while the US Recaros are made out of cloth I believe...

Looks good, but it looks like the recaro logo is uneven on the one on the left (pictured). Is that because of the one slider?

 

heh that is just because one side is more reclined then the other. u can adjust them with the ***** on the side. they are both real and the same size heh.

 

Oh, i think you were confused. I'm just saying that the "RECARO" logo on the left doesn't look like its parallel to the ground. It shouldn't matter if its reclined or not because it should be parallel no matter what. I am not doubting if they are real. In fact they look great

edit: Did you try selling these seats before on a different name? Like "b16a2" or something? I remember seeing pictures of these exact same seats a few weeks back?

heh i dunno could have been tilted a little i guess.. i dunno. but these are real. theres serial #'s on both seats, and in the plastic its etched recaro. peace.
