Default 1997 type R motor and tranny

I'm looking for a ZC and I came across this. No reserve and starts at $999.00 It's not my auction but I thought I'd post it http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1875992055

Good buy....a little shady though even though the guy has good feedback. Even at 2k it would still be a hell of a deal as long as nothing is wrong with the motor/tranny.

$2200 'Buy it now' price? Including tranny? Hmm, sounds fishy

Yeah It seems cheap but you never know. If I was going this route I'd e-mail the guy and ask a **** load of questions. I figured that somebody from HT would find out whats up cause if it's legit it's a steal. Besides somebody from that area could always go check it out in person

Some info

Location Ponca City,OK
Country/Region United States /Oklahoma City
so someone fron OK can check him out. I've had really good deals on e-bay before and no-one bid on the like they should have. I sold my 67 z28 (1 of 550) for 8-12,000 less than it should have sold. I was pissed

yeah sorry to hear about not getting the money for your car SIRX

shoot i have 2k i could buy that motor no problem, but i think it would end up sitting in my basement for a while OR i would get screwed on the deal; but if i could find out if this is legit ill start looking for a cheap hatch to swap it into

well someone's bidding on it b/c the price now is up to $1525
