I think most differences are very minor. They have been out of stock for 89 Manuals for as long as I have looked. They have 91s in stock. Should I get that?

 

i suppose its for a 4th gen hatch. If so i would say go for it. after the 4th gens do go from 1989 to 1991. So they are all the same besides things like auto tranny & manual tranny etc...

 

wiring diagrams might be different.

i need to get an 89 helms as well. maybe we should try a group buy so helms will make up a batch???

 

I e-mailed Helms like 2 months ago looking for them to send me one and they said they would tell me. I guess just e-mailing them a lot will make them make a new batch.

 

i say we try and get a list of people who would buy them, then email helms and let them know we have X amount of buyers interested. maybe that will motivate them some?

Would the 88 helms be identical to the 89 even if there are differences in the two cars.

yes they are. every year has slightly different wiring and wire colors.

one thing i do know is that 88 and 89 have wiring more similiar than to a 90 or 91...

i just got a practically brand new honda service manual for an 89 civic from http://www.bookfinder.com. it actually linked me to http://www.abebooks.com.

anyway, it cost me $40 shipped.

 

I am interested in the Electrical Manual for an 88 CRX. I thought Helms still makes them....

And yes 88s are different, slightly.
