Winter clean up
I just got my TB and fuel rail off for winter clean ups. Also removed injectors and saw all kinds of greasy crap in head seat and around rubber seal rings. Actual injector tips look clean though.
But I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a couple of ??'s
1. How do I get rid of all the corrosion etc. on the TB and fuel rail and mounting hardware? Does anyone now how to polish this stuff?
2. Is all that crap on the injector seals normal? I got new injectors and will install after cleaning up rail.
Its an F22B1 with 110k miles on it.
Oh boy,,,, my Hyper ground system came yesterday too! That goes in too.

Save the can of Coke for mixing with your favorite liquor. Some steel wool or fine emory cloth plus something like Mother's Aluminum Polish should work. It's tedious, but worth the results.
