I honestly can not imagine putting that much into a Type R. I love them, and they are terrific cars, but **** you could have a modded NSX, which does everything the ITR does, only better. And you could have an S4 daily driver to boot...

rob- who is gonna be in a much much better mood after his date and some and hopefully

If you actually count the list prices on all the parts that he has in his car it will not add up to $50,000 even with the labor. Somebody do the math and proove me wrong but that is a 12 second car in my book and he did not waste that kind of money. I think scc hyped that car up. Also, for that kind of money I would think that he would have decent fuel management. It says he has an fmu and a vafc, where the hell does that add up to $80,000?????

I'll race him anytime with my ITR and it's normally aspirated. Street or drag strip, bring it on!

I think (from the last thread) that the $$ quoted includes several blown engines.

that thing has to be a wiring mess....he uses a skunk2 ecu for what reason I will never know. then he piggy backs that with a F-CON, AVC-R, and V-AFC....doing dumb stuff like that will add up quick....for less money he could have had a hondata 4b.....from what I know he finished 6th.....I am sure the DSM crushed him and the WRX did too I would guess...then the viper and supra and the MR2

I find it funny he said he spent that much. I could duplicate everything he has done for under 10 grand, labor included. He is either a complete moron or a lier. Oh and yes his car will get decimated in the contest, unless he decides to invest money into making the car handle.
