Default F22 dohc head

Everyone who has an accord always does the h22 swap, I was wondering if i put an f22 dohc head on my F23A1 and a turbo that. would it be an easier and cheaper alternative then an h22 swap?

I have heard the F22 DOHC referred to before on this board. Is there really such a motor? I thought that the F22 series were all SOHC. I know that the A1 and B1's are. What are motor #'s? Will they fit in a 97 Accord?

the dohc f22 motor is from the older jdm accords, they are almost identicle to the usdm h23 found in the prelude si's. they bought pump out 160 hp, BUT since the h23 has .1 extra displacement, it makes more torque at a lower rpm.

all usdm f-series motor(except the s2k f20c motor) are SOHC.

Just turbo the f22b1, great compression for it. You don't need DOHC to make good power..

The J series is a good example of that face. Just as much power as the nissan DOHC v6 motors in both hp and torque for similar displacments
