what bearing color code?
im pretty sure you have to tear it apart and see whats already in it. that, or have a machine shop take measurements to make sure its perfect.
i didnt think the mains had color coding, just the rods?

Bearings can be had form a B16a2 95-97 Del Sol DOHC vtec. Both main and rod bearings are color coded. The thrust washer is not. To find out what color bearings you need the crankshaft will have to be removed. Then you get the numbers and leters from the bottom of the block and on the crankshaft. Look in your service manual and it will tell you which numbers are which and how to use the chart. When I rebuilt my B16 I went back with the same OEM color bearings. I would suggest you do the same unless it has had a spun bearing or something of that nature and that journal will need to be plastigauged or dial bored to ensure its within spec. Let us know if you have any questions.
Thanx for the help guys i just found out i have the green color code or what ever...
Its a lil strip of paint on the bearing?

Somebody correct me here if I am wrong, but make sure all the bearings in your engine are the same color.
I have heard of some engines where the bearings were not all the same color.

Not all the bearings are going to be the same color. Its possible but not very likely. Its not very acurate to try and distinguish the bearing colors by looking at the side of the bearing. Sometimes the colors wear off. Brown and black are the hardest to distinguish with the naked eye. Most acurate way is to write down the numbers and letters off the bolck and crankshaft and look them up on the bearing chart. Its plain and simple if you read the manual.
