Default doing mpfi swap but using d16y8 manifold?? wiring and hoses?

I have the injector resistor box, do i need to use the si fuel injectors or the y8's? if the y8's, do i need the wires for the y8 injectors off of the injector box? How are the vacuum hoses on the manifold ran on the y8 to convert to the si? How will this manifold affect my power? horsepower, torque, high end? What should i look out for doing this? Any problems with this swap that i should know about? I do have the procedure on how to convert from dpfi to mpfi. If i chip the ecu(mugen) could i put any other pistons in the motor to get a little more power without blowing it up? I am rebuilding the entire motor.
What crank do i use? rods? with what pistons?
When i do this , would it be wise to also get an aem cam gear, aem pulley, aem fuel rail?anything else? Or which brand is better?

I have the hf distributor, hf injector resistor box, si head, d16y8 intake manifold injectors, throttle body, fpr, fuel rail.

i know i need ecu, wiring, head gasket, injectors? which mani gasket(intake)? si throttle cable.

I know this is a lot of stuff but it is everything i need to know.
Thanks,
Matt

D series IM gasket. Only use the resistor box if you use the si injectors. Look aroudn for a layout of the Y8 intake mani. If you can use the SI crank and rods, and possibly ctr or d16a1 pistons, they'll raise compression. The y8 head gasket would also raise compression. Hope some of this helps.

Why should i only use the resistor box ith the si injectors? I am just curious. Can ctr pistons fit in the d16 block or d15 block? would i need to bore it out or anyhting? I know the 86-89 teg pistons raise the compr to like 11:1 , if i put the teg pistons in, what kind of gas would i need to run?if the ecu was chipped then would the motor be more likely to blow if it had the teg pistons in it? What kind of compr would i get from the ctr?

Thank you for your help,
Matt
