im using a hifonics Zeus 440x amp. i red error light shows and the green power light blinks. i think i blew a fuse but im not sure. hifonicsusa.com doesnt have the manual in PDF and i dont have mine, so i dont know what to do! can anyone help me with this? thanks alot

There should be a fuse on the amp and or a fuse at the battery.

well its not the fuses, and my hifonics troubleshooting isnt helping...

i wouldnt go into diagnostic mode if the speakers were reversed (+ and - ) would it? i had to pull them for the spare last week and they worked fine until that bass hit. so i dont think i have them hooked up wrong.
i get my green "okay' light when i unplug my RCA's, and the error when theyre in....so i switched the RCAs on the back of my HU to the other set and it does the same thing...some help would really be appreciated.

Joe, I have had two HiFonics amps in the past and had no luck with them either, they sound awsome untill that day come where they crap out.

What to look for if your handy with tools and electronics, open the biotch up and with a bright light look inside and see if you see anything burnt. If anything is burnt its going to be really small and have a faint smell. At that point if you do see something burnt out don't try to be a hero and fix it ask your local shops if they are Hifonincs aut dealer and let them send it out.

Besure to unplug the amp before opening/working on it.

One more thing, did you lower the gain all the way down before turning it on?
also the trigger wire is it still hooked up and working?

test the resistance of the subs to see if they are blown.

use a multimeter across the posative and negative terminals of the sub, they should read either 4 - 8 ohms depending the resistance of the voice coils.
