im having trouble installing my us srds in my 00 type r. my stock seats are already out. but now i need to put the srds in. does anyone know how to do it, and/or have pix of installation? i have the sliders, brackets, seats, and 8 bolts. i tried searching the forum but could not find anything. it's not as simple as i thought it would be, and its the first time i've tried messing around with front seats. can someone please help? thanks

i got the wedge racing brackets for a 94-01 integra, but mine is a type r. im pretty sure that they're the same, any more ideas?
this is how i did it. I put the bar that u use to move the sliders back and forth ON. Only one at a time though.
When you got this on, use the bar to move the slider back to expose the holes you need. When you've done that, use the bolts to attach the slider to the bottom of the seat.
Now use the bar to move the slider in the other direction to get to the other hole. Screw in the other bolt and then repeat for the other side.
Once you're done, line both sliders to the top edge so that they'll be even.
Now, you're gonna attach the bracket (the piece that hooks the car floor to the seat).
This part is easy, just bolt them up with the washers and screws. I tried putting them on the top holes so that the seats would sit lower, but then I couldn't bolt the brackets to the floor.
Then w/ the brackets mounted to the seats (make sure you've put the seatbelts snaps on), place them in the car and bolt them up.
PM if you've got questions.

im guessing u put on the brackets and sliders first, then the seat goes on last. is this right? anyway can someone post pix of their sliders? mine are straight and i dunno what brand they are since i bought them off someone online. thanks peace
Mine are wedge engineering brackets too.
Ok, from where you are...you can try and bolt the brackets to the floor first and then bolt the seats to the bracket. But hard part is gonna be bolting the seats to the brackets b/c you'll be on the floor in cramped quarters trying to screw everything in. The up side is you'll be able to sit the seat at the lowest setting.
Or you can take the bracket and bolt them to the sliders BEFORE bolting them to the floor. The downside to this is that you won't be able to use the lowest setting b/c then you don't have clean access to bolting the bracket to the floor, you won't have enough space.
To attach the brack to the seat, you'll use those 4 8"mm screws and the washer. The brackets have those 2 long cylinders w/ the holes on the ends. The sliders should have a point on each end where you can attach the screws. This is where the brackets meets the sliders.
From there, just bolt them to the floor of the car.
Sorry I don't have pics. I didn't think about doing that when i put my seats in. I just did this 2 weeks ago.
What kinda seats did you get?

i have black srds (us spec). my brackets are from wedge, but my sliders are from i dunno where. they're nonhight adjustable sliders i think. sliders are still on the seats, so should i take them off or leave them on? if i bolt the brackets to the floor first, then should i bolt the seats with the sliders to the brackets? or just put the seats on the bracket without the sliders, then attatch the sliders? sorry for all this confusion but thanks for helping.
You should leave the sliders on. The brackets fit between the car floor and the sliders. The sliders fit between the bracket and the seats.
If you bolt the brackets to the floor first, then you can bolt the seats q/ the sliders to the brackets.
You CANT put the seats on the brackets w/o the sliders.

thanks for ur replies, so far i was able to mount the brackets securely onto the floor. now, i just do not get how the seats attatched to the sliders mount onto the brackets? thanks for ur help
one way to do it is to place your seats on top of the brackets. See what meets up w/ what else.
There should be hole on the sliders that line up w/ holes on the brackets.

sorry i don't see anymore holes on the brackets. i used the 4 big wholes to mount onto the floor. the other wholes are to hold the seat belt buckle thing. i see holes on the sliders but not the brackets. any other ideas?
the 2 long cylinders that run parallel to each other, do you see those? At the end of those cylinder are holes (on both ends). Your 8mm screws should fit in those holes. THis is where the sliders meets the brackets.
If you don't see those, then maybe you have the wrong brackets? Post a pic if you don't see what I'm describing. I'd take a pic of mine, but then i'd have to take off my seats.

ok i get what ur saying now. the two long circular cylinders have holes at both ends for bolts. i get it. currently there are bolts connecting my seats to my sliders. 2 on each slider, 4 on each seat with sliders. am i suppose to take these off? these are the only remaining bolts that i have left. or should i purchase some 8mm bolts and washers? thanks for ur help, i can tell im getting closer.

my sliders are totally straight and do not come out at a 90 degree angle. that is the reason why i do not know how to bolt them onto the end of the cylinders of the bracket. any ideas? thanks again.
The 4 screws that are already holding the sliders to the seats should stay there.
you'll need 8 more 8mm screws, 4 for each seat.
The sliders should have 4 ends that come out at 90 degree angels. Each of those ends should have 3 hole drilled in them.
You use the top hole for the lowest seating position. The bottom for the highest seating position.
You said you don't those, maybe you have the wrong sliders.

maybe the sliders are wrong, since they do not come out at a 90 degree angle. the sliders that i have are just straight. if i order new sliders, will the come with the handle adjustment? the sliders that i have now do have the handle adjustment. do u think if i order new sliders, that it will come with the handle adjustment? or do u think that i will be able to put the handle on the new sliders? thanks for ur time again.
where did you order your brackets and sliders in the first place?
If you got them from wedge engineering, i would call them and ask. You'll want to get the sliders from them since the brackets are from them. Their slider will have the handle adjustment.

if i get the wedge sliders, they should come with the handle to slide the seats right? any idea how much this will cost? and if i have the seats, sliders, and brackets, i won't need anything else except for bolts right? thanks
yeah, they should.
Since you already got the brackets, you'll probably looking at about 100.
I got my brackets and sliders for 125 for each pair, just to give you an idea.
What else have you done to your ride. Post pics.
Yeah, and the bolts. Ask WEDGE, they might even give them to you.
