Hello, I have an 8 ohm Solobaric and I was wondering if I hook it up will there be any damage or difference in sound quality, they were meant to be hooked up together but I sold one of them. The amp I'll be using is an Alpine 1507. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 

it wouldn't affect sound quality. what will be affected is how much power it's going to get. less power=not as loud. is the solobaric a dual voice coil sub or single?

 

Gosh, I don't even know, they're the Solobarics from a couple of years ago, not the square ones but the round ones, I'l be running an Alpine 1507 so hopefully that'll be enough since I'm going to bridge it. Thanks for the reply, any help is greatly appreciated
