Anyone incounted this before?
The car runs strong but when i'm coming out of 1st or 2nd driveing normal to w.o.t. the car seems to drag or bog than it just feels like it gets a kick in the *** and takes off.
I've checked timeing and its on the money.

I would get a choke cleaner for fuel injection system. Spray ligthly around to check any vacumn lines for leak. Take off the intake pipe & cleaned the choke with choke cleaner. Double check all connections.
throttle body and injectors, its just strange. I had a couple of people drive my car and they too feel the lag in 2nd floored it lags for a few seconds than its like a shot of nos was injected in it and bam!! it takes off.

Please excuse my vocab.. I think I meant throttle body not choke. That's really strange. I have not heard this problems before. If you have a friend that has the same engine, ask him or her to borrow the entire intake system I mean the whole thing, put them in & try it again. If it's still same ****, then you know probably the fuel system. I wish I can help you more. May be one of us in H-T had the same problem but already solved it, can give you the advice. I really want know what happen too. Good luck.
Yeah, i thought that too but the timing is correct. It just might be a fuel system problem. The feeling i get is like what a vtec motor does you know when you get into it and the vtec kicks in thats what it feels like.
.
I think what he meant was that the timing belt is off may be one or two teeth from the cam gear. Correct me if I'm wrong.
sounds like timing is off (belt)

If the timing is dead on and there's no CEL, I would check the distributor or ECU. If you know anyone with the same parts that could let you use them to test, try changing them and see if the problem goes away.
Cool, i'm trying to locate a distr. and ecu to try out. One more thing I have a after market exhaust its 2 1/2" piping and i get a poping sound from it from off idle thru 3000 rpm, it sounds like a miss. Could the exhaust throw off the O2 sensor?
One thing that I would also check that is missed alot is a working O2 sensor.
They will not throw a CEL and screw up your A/F ratio which is causing you to bog a little.
I'd suggest making sure your O2 sensor is working or replace it
