your really brave for 15.. i'm 19 and i dont like the feeling of my hands touching the internals of my car.. cause it seems everything i touch BREAKS!!

How hard is it to do?? just want to know how hard it is to remove all the stuff and install springs/adjust the valves.??

I want to get an Exospeed StreetA6 or SR909A6 cam.. just dont know which one to get.

Well it really quite simple acutually. Remove the valve cover and then there are about 14 bolts that you loosen and the entire rocker arm assembly comes off exposing the cam then you just take the cam out. that's where im currently at. just need to get a cam seal to let the project progress. im going to get one tomorrow so it will be done. then you just slide the new cam in and adjust everything and bam. exospeed cam is a regrind and this cam is a fresh one that is made.

ah my car has 135k on it.

I was wondering are you using your old(137k) valve springs and stuff? So basically your just replacing cam, cam seals & [b]readjusting[b] your valves?

i mean do you need to replace the retainers and springs that bad or what??

I have the stage one cam in my CRX, Crane recommended replacing the valve springs with new stock ones so I did. Where did you get your Crane from cause I got mine for 260 bucks.

I'll guarantee you that our SR909 cam will make more power than the Crane stage 1. I have tried a crower and when the Crane first came out and couldnt compare to our cams. just look at the numbers. this is with our head package and with bolt ons.
HEAD package/upgraded valvetrain with the SR909 cam. dynos at 138 to the wheels, stock block. thats over 40hp gain to the wheels on a basic build up. corrected HP gain to the flywheel should be around 155 or so. at 155hp from 109 stock... I believe thats impressive.

whats the pros and cons on your cams if any? crane new VS exospeed regrinds...

what the difference between the 2.. what kind of waranty? what about quality? do you use our core or one you already have.

if i were in your shoes, it would be a matter of preference. if new cores like the Crane are really important to you, then I'd go with those. but if you dont mind a regrind, then i woudl suggest ours.
as far as quality, my own personal SR909 cam went through 100k+ miles, daily driven and raced also every weekend. still performed like it did from the beginning. we use our core or yours, whatever you prefer.

we actually have 3 cams available for the D16a6. we recoommend the SR909 which is the most street/track friendly cam we have. you can street our 'Race' cam but that is going to the extreme and most dont want a very lopy idle.
If you are interested in even a wilder cam than our 'race' cam, let me know. we have another one higher than that but seriously only for dedicated track only racers. call us up at 818-355-6156
and if you are even way more hardcore and want to go full full race.. we are developing a new cam from a new billet core which should be available later this year. most likely going to be for alcohol injected applications.

If that's all you want, there are other ways of getting it.

Good luck on that cam, make sure you use your torque wrench too.
