Default Cusco Zero 1 coilovers?

Does anyone know if the springs that originally come with the Zero 1 coilovers are changeable to higher spring rates? Or is that not possible? Currently it's 9k(F) 5k(R)

wait for the jdm peeps to come back from the holidays...
you'll get an answer then...

why not step up to the Zero 2 for higher spring rates?

well cuz I already purchased the Zero 1's and I got it for a good price. The Zero 2's were kinda outta my range

I'm not like a hardcore road racer so I didn't need something with that much adjustability in dampening

then what fault do you find with the 9/5k spring rates...seems like they will suit your needs just fine

right, there is no problem for street usage, but when I do track 9k and 5k don't seem stiff enough I'm just curious if this is possible really

You can replace those springs with Eibach ERS springs. They come in various dimensions. I'm guessing the I.D. of your Cusco Springs are 60mm. If so, there are tons of ERS springs available with varying spring rates.

If your question is whether or not the damper will handle stiffer springs, then I can't help you on that one.

hey man, thanks, that's good info. But yeah, I wonder what the max spring rate is, is for the Zero 1's.

Damnit, maybe I should've bought the Zero 2
