Install??? I am installing now... taking pics and posting as I go along.
Here is my little carpet trick. Cut the carpet into diagonals and then pin with safety pins. I hope it works.

Yes, installing by myself. I was going to get help, but wanted to try it by myself. It gives me a sense of accomplishment. Also, if I messed up, Rodney and others are great at wrenching and can bail me out. I started yesterday with depackaging the contents and putting the bar in the car (about 1 hour). This morning I started at about 7:45am and it is now 9:30am. I am taking breaks to post and rest. I figure to complete will take another 1 1/2 hours to get perfect. So, I guess the final time amount is about 4 hours. Hopefully
pics aren't working, I'll fix later.

Goop is on... friend stopped by and dropped off some roasted lamb (hmmm)...lost a bolt for a half an hour, found it. (Thank you God.) I still haven't eaten breakfast and now a socket is stuck on a bolt...time for a good hour break to eat and relax. Mental Note... get 3/8 socket and do not use a 14mm !! One more plate to go, then interior and I am done. The S&M racing website gets a
From doing this install, here are some pointers:
1. It is a sense of accomplish to do alone, but get a friend.
2. Follow the website directions. It is annoying to bolt an unbolt multiple times, but it works out.
3. I had to widened the upper rear "leg" holes.
4. I widened one or more holes on the brackets.
5. Keep rags handy for the silicone.
6. Don't bang your head multiple times on the bar, door frames, hatch, etc.
7. Leave enough time and if not, do over multiple days.
8. The hatch interior panels are a REAL PAIN !!! If you don't need them, leave them out. I wanted to go back to a clean look and keep my options open if I want to run SCCA DS.
Still not done... I have to finish before heading over to a friend's house for dinner. Her and her family are cooking up a storm
Also, work tomorrow.

Basically, finished !
I couldn't eat knowing I had only one side to finish. So, tightened everything up and only thing left is snapping and bolting the panels and rear seat. When I had two bolts left, I realized I had a ratcheting 14mm Park Tool open wrench that I used for tightening cranks on a bicycle. I could of used it two hours ago

Final pics. All the interior is back minus a few clips. I can't find a wrench... I am thinking it is under my seats or a panel
I guess I'll find out on the first test drive.
Once the race seats are in with the harness. It will be fully complete
(I also put the club and autolock on, even in my garage !!!)
