Default E-Brake Light On?

My E-Brake light is staying on in my CRX even when my e-brake isn't pulled up. It hasn't gone off yet. How do I fix that?

There is a switch mounted under the handle. You will have to take that part of the console off to get in there. Personally, I would disconnect the wire on this and leave it go. Then again you could try adjusting or replacing it. I take no responsibility for the above-do it at your own risk.

Uh, why not check your brake fluid level before doing all that? Since low fluid can cause the light to come on also.
