What fan to use with fluidyne?
Getting an 38mm fluidyne and was wondering which fans to use, spal, permacool, etc..and which size?? this will go on a 2000 ITR turbo, I plan to keep a/c and maximize the space between the manifold and fan.
sorry, new to this fan thing....thanks.

You're correct the a/c compressor side will not get enough cooling IMO w/ a pusher type fan.
I would recommend going with a puller on the a/c side. Spal makes good fans. Try this link http://www.jaycorptech.com/shop/shop...Cooling+Fansns

I run the fluidyne with turbo (keeping A/C)
There is about 2.5" clearance between the compressor and the radiator...
FAL will not fit (not even the slimline).. I ended up buying a SPAL 7" fan
(2.05") and mounted it as far to the drivers side as I could.. I have about a
.75" clearance from the compressor in this configuration...
NOTE that since I run open wastegate, the exhaust started melting the fan (it's plastic), so I put a layer of aluminum tape all over the exposed surfaces.. This
seems to have stopped the melting.
