This is what I hear, hell you are really riding on air, but then again, does riding on our H&R race springs and koni's feel like air? Hell no! But I think cylinders look damn cool. My car is all go, no show. I like speed, so how much do cylinders weigh, and will they slow me down alot?

i think they're awesome. alot cleaner than hydraulics. but i guess it depends alot on which brand and company you go with.

either way, i'll let you guys know in hopefully less than a month how they ride

How do they ride like ***? *** like a cadilac or *** like bumpy? I don't care if you can back up your claims, but dont just say they suck. The reason Im going more show is because I have everything done to my car mechanically, without spending huge money, and Im still not happy with the speed. Its supercharged, all the bolt ons, igniton, clutch, flywheel, etc. etc. So I want alittle show, rims, oem kit, and cylinders. I mean, if I dont like how fast it is...I better like how it looks, and it doesnt look that great, at all.

why don't you elaborate on what brand, and the quality of the installation before you share your negative opinions on your experiences.

I think air cylinders are cool. But yet again, Im really into stuff on airbags too. If your going for something that will get looks, bein on cylinders will get looks. I like the look of them.

i have experience with air bags on mini-trucks and they ride really smooth

but i would say the ride on air cylinders is opposite. because with bags the bag gives, that makes it smooth.

with cylinders the cylinder has no give, even though there is air in there, they probably ride rough.. plus you won't have a shock

EDIT: i like them since there is really no "easy" way to put bags on a civic so to cylinders.

when i looked intogetting airride for my 88crx the only thing they had was air cylinders and the whole kit with f,b,s,s. and three wheel with the faster valves and compressor and side port tanks ended up bieng 1600 installed but like that one guy posted on mini trucks the bag still gives a lil and the cylinder will not give at all but you canget accumulators for the cylinders and that will let the cylinder give and in return give it a more baglike ride quality..ayway hope this helps

u guys are all jackass's about cylinders. you all make assumptions on **** you don't even know **** about. for 1 i have cylinders and didn't have to drill through my sub frame. and if you ride them all the way up yeah they ride like crap. but you are a jackass if you drive with them all the way up it looks like a 4x4. you put it up to get around dips and bumps. and you can't drive with them all the way down because on my car its laid out side skirts are on the ground. u pay for what you get when you by cylinders just spend a little more money and get good quailty ****. if you want some info on them email me and i will tell you what i know about them.

i would seriously think about it before you buy those air cylinders!! i had them on my si and i took it off in less than a week. it rode like total crap to me, bouncy bouncy bouncy. and i dont like haveing to wait for the tank to fill up every morning before i can raise it up even to drive. the car will only stay raised for 2-3 hours without power and then it starts to sink down. when you get back into the car, like after school or something, you gotta wait for the tank to fill up for like 5-10 minutes just so you can raise it up a little to drive. i think its cool, but only for show. but its up to you!
