Default 97 prelude w/POTENTIAL ODOMETER ROLLBACK should I buy?

Im looking to buy a different car before I start school in Jan. I came across a dis nice lookin lude for 12gs, i did a car fax on it and got "POTENTIAL Odometer Rollback Detected" The miles on the 97 lude reads 59,000 but anyways this is what it looked like

CALCULATION: POTENTIAL ODOMETER ROLLBACK

On 04/26/1999 the odometer reading was reported as: 48,000 miles
On 08/04/1999 the odometer reading was reported as: 22,579 miles

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This represents a mileage decrease of: 25,421 miles

I need a car before i start school, and havent found any other ludes for the price im looking for... Any suggestions? Any other ways of tellin if it really was rolled back? *some sort of seal behind the cluster thats broken?* Im looking at a $13-14,500 price range *im in washington state 98503 any one wanna help me find a lude?

It would be more than 25k decrease.... unless it wasn't driven from April through August. I wouldn't get it if it was me... keep looking...

If you decided to buy that lude, I wouldn't pay $12K for it since whom ever had it rolled back the odometer, besides, you can find another lude for around the same price if not cheaper

Stay far away from that car. Even if you could get an amazing deal on it, that car will never have a resale value anywhere close to a clean-titled car. That odometer rollback will always appear on the VIN record, and you would have a very tough time trying to sell it or trade it in in the future.

Stay away.

yeah i dont think its a good idea to get that lude, i did find another 97 black on black SH with about 50,000 miles... Not to sure if i wanna get a SH though but i know for a fact i wont be gettin a turbo kit anytime soon but i do plan on getting a set of wheels, I/H/E, and a proper drop *struts everything* will this be too much of a hastle to mod an SH, ive been doing alot of reading but not enough to really decide if i wanan go with an SH, I got till the 6th of jan so i hope there'll be more ludes available by then

if it was rooled back once it could've been done twice and 12K is WAY WAY too high for a 97 never mind the miles or the rollback
