Several people have the kit, and it is a good quality kit for the streets. does not provide the hard core power that other high end kits provide, but greddy kits are complete and well researched kits.

for street setup, it is good kit. Greddy kit is good if you know how much power you want out of your car and how much money to spend on a kit..

well, its not like you can pick between the other. wait, you technically can, but if you got a sohc or a dohc, they got specific kits for each. you can boost 10-12lbs, but can your engine handle it is the problem. if youre looking to boost that amount at the track, it seems like youre in it for power, which the greddy kit may not suit you the best. if you want a reliable setup to boost on the street, greddy's the best to get.

is this kit going on a GSR? 12 psi on internal wastegate is OK.

you think it'd be safe to run 15psi at the track and about 10 daily with the sohc kit for a d16a6? if the engine can handle it of course..

I had my GReddy for over a year, boosted 12psi on it and had a great time doing it. The only problem I had was with the wastegate. Around 9-10psi it would start to get a little crazy, by 12psi it was WAR between my AVC-R and the wastegate so I made sure to only use 12psi when I absoultuley had to. Aside from that though it was great.

i've had mine for almost 8000 miles now ... more like 7700 miles and 11 months. Still runs like a champ but 5 psi is just too low. time for an EBC for me! and some better type of fuel management.

i like the low end greddy thorque but it will suffer at high boost @ high rpm ,boost creep ,boost spike ,internal wastgate ,blue box 310 cc injector ,dump tube ,restrictiv downpipe ,restrictor plate(filter) ,restrictiv exaust manifoldand and will eventualy crack ,filter 2.5 inch (to small) kit wont come whit I/C ,bov
greddy kit stock(225 whp max)whithout cat!!2.5 exaust min
greddy kit whit alote of work done to it$$$$(350whp max).

you could get a custom kit(t3t4) and hit 400whp easy whit the same money invested

See that's what i needed to know. JoTech Can get me an Apex for a nice price and they said they prefer Apex over Greddy. A buddy of mine said he saw the kit somewhere on line and said it looked nice. I seen the Greddy down pipe it looked smaller than my stock down pipe and the exhaust ports were very small. I didn't like. But i heard that it was realiable. Which i know it is. I drive far everyday my insurance will not caover my engine because i totalled my last car out so i decided to find the right turbo kit for it or a custom kit.

"JoTech" is reccomending the Apex'i kit becuase they're making a nice premium on it. I've looked at them both and for the money i'm convinved, the GReddy is the FAR greater value. It's not that there's anything wrong with the actual Apex'i kit, it's actually a badass turbo kit, but for the near $4k retail on that kit, I'd rather stick to a $1400 GReddy kit + $50 injectors, $250 AFC and I've got a 190whp+ setup for half the cost of the Apex'i kit.

Oh and I've seen the dyno's of some guys on the Apex'i kit, all that hype about how much more whp it delivers vs. the Greddy is pure horse-ish! I think it was like 8-9 more whp at the same psi level between the two at like 7psi Now if you found an Apex'i kit for say $2200 +/- then I might take it over the GReddy for the BB turbo and manmouth FMIC, but other than that, I'll take a GReddy kit thanks!
