im pretty sure that the cx head is the same as the dx head
The dx might flow a little better but you wount notice any differnce in power
There shouldnt be any reason why it wouldnt fit and work because there the same series motors and neither of them are vtec so you shouldnt need anything for it to work

yes you can install a dx head on a cx bottom end. the dx head has 16v's and the cx head a 8v's. the cx bottom end forever should have 16 relief's for the valves even though the head only has 8. mainly cause it was easier for honda to do.

double check when you pull the head off the cx though. if there are 4 valve reliefs per cylinder you're all set. hope this helps. PauL

why dont u put an EX Head and complete a mini me swap.. add vtec to ur CX bottom end and let that VTEC kick.. aint worth switching a DX head to CX bottom, its pointless.. add some real hp to ur car and you'll see a much bigger difference.. both DX and CX are non vtec.. jes thought i'd let u know..v
