Default Winterizing your Car (for people in snowy conditions)?

I would just like to know what everyone is doing to "winterize" their car. And yes Kansas winters can be pretty harsh on our cars. What polishes and waxes? Any tips or things I should know before I start?Anyways, I just bought step 2 and step 3 of Meguiars line of stuff. Step 2 is the deep crystal polish and step 3 is the Carnauba wax. (Step one was just a paint cleaner or something like that). So, what does everyone do to winterize their car?

Okay, I actually just found this link https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=222917 which was pretty much what I wanted to know, but any other comments would be good.

too cold for all that ****. throw on a set of steelies with 3 hub caps and let the layer of dirt/salt/crust protect the paint.

Atleast thats how I do it.
