i've been driving around without a dash vin# for about a year now, had my crx stolen awhile back, i replaced it with civic si dash. is it possible to get a new one and what happens if i get pulled over or something? this is for cali, can't find anything on that.

 

I would talk to the DMV about that.

 

don't give 'em your information though, in case they try and do something to your car.

 

I dunno about CA, but in VA you have to have DMV come out and do all sorts if inspections and what not. I don't think it can be done easily. If you try it, I'd get the police reports of where it was stolen and all documentation you have for the car.
