Default Wish me luck... (Alarm Install)

I'm putting an alarm on my neon tomorrow... its a base model, and i want remote start & keyless entry, and i have a few alarms layin around that i bought a while back from a friend... I'm putting an Avital Tornado w/ AutoLock Power Lock Solenoids in, and a home made remote start relay box. No Shock Sensor or anything, its my beater car... I just want remote start and Keyless Entry...

be sure that the alarm is installed behind the Guage cluster, somewhere UP inside of the dash will make it tougher for those ****** to find and pull the power fuse......... Basically dont have them install it where all other alarms are normally placed, confusing the theif...

I'm installin it myself, and i'm installing it more for my own convenience... Its cold here in CT, and i dont like having to start my car and drive off in the cold, so i'm puttin a remote start on it. And i have having to fumble with the keys, so i'm putting the keyless entry on it... Only alarm features i'm hookin up is the door sensors, siren, and flashing lights to give me a little extra security for my CD Player Sony Flip Face which you can't see when the car is off) and if i have my snowboard in the car...

Its a neon, so its easy to rip apart... I actually plan on putting the brain on the top of the dash...

good luck with everything, the top of the dash is a great protected place for the alarm. Just make sure to take your time, sometimes it can be quite frustrating, especially when you cant find a wire; or can't find the sauder or electrical tape (for the like 15 time....)

damn, now that's a good idea! i just have a bunch of wires zip tied and my box zip tied to the bottom of my fusebox. oh well, i have an MSD ground kill so the car won't start anyways. but hey, i might look into your idea and redo it.
