i was wondering which is better, getting a full exhaust system or just getting custom piping and a muffler? any differences between the two?

 

i'm a believer in good custom jobs... save yourself a packet of money. you do need to know a good exhaust shop though.

 

also, it really wouldn't matter what muffler i choose right?

 

well yeah... it depends on the style and quality of course.

 

More so what style suits you best. I'd go for an N1.

 

i spose it depends alot on the noise and look you are after... personally i'd want something free flowing i.e. straight through, but not too loud. that is very bloody hard to find.
however, i did manage to find one...
i am now running a chitose rear muffler. with three resonators though.
