Is there a way to fix the connection on the back of a guage cluster if the gold strip piece is worn, i tried changing the bulb thinking it was burnt out but when i looked at the connection it is worn and think there is no connection to light the bulb. Just wondering if anyone knows how to fix that....

I would try some of that copper conductive paint, like the stuff you would use to fix the rear defogger, HTH!!

 

Just get a new cluster. Avoid the risk of a short circuit that may end up burning your car down...Sorry for being too extreme. If you need an Si cluster I can sell you one or they usually go for around $50-$75 depending on condition. That's what I would do instead of tinkering with it...something small like that should just be replaced. Just my .02
