Default 99 si cluster issue

i already tried putting this in the lighting forum, but it wouldn't open for me. my needles don't light up on my cluster. are they even suppose to? because at night its kind of hard to see them. yes my dimmer switch is turned up all the way, i can see everything else fine in my car...except the needles.

any help is appreciated

Have you check the bulbs on top of the cluster? its by the front top part of the cluster cover.

the needles are lit by the bulbs that are on top of the cluster. Check and replace those if you need to.

you know i checked those two bulbs out, and i thought to myself, those can't be what lights up the needles because i didn't see any relevance to the bulbs being up top and the needles. turns out i was wrong!

thanks alot guys!
