wiring plugs

wiring plugs
On a dx harness at the ecu, the A plug(white plug) are the wires numbered odd on one side and even on the other? Is a1 a yellow wire so I can tell if I am looking at the plug the right way. What i am asking is how to read the plugs. Thanks for any help

goes odd numbers on top of the plug if its facing u and even numbers on bottom... for example.. the top wires are a1(brn) a3(red) a5(lt blu) a7 (yel) and as a matter of fact those are the inyectors cables...so on....
