My b18c1 swap feels a little sluggish in first and second gear!

I got my swap in to my 92 hatch about two weeks ago, and when I first drove it, the car felt quick as ****. But now it feels like 1st and 2nd gear take a little while to pick up compared to third gear and so on. I did a basic tune up like, -NGK V-power plugs, Mobil 1 oil change, distibutor cap, and started putting 93 octane gas, and also put some ful injector fluid in the gas. I can tell that made a difference, but it still feels the same way in the first couple of gears. Wondering what could I change or do to make quicker rpm response or pick up quicker. Is this normal on GSRs?
The motor has about 65,000 to 70,000m on it and its basically stock in my car.
Any info or advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Before you come to any conclusions about what you feel the motor lacks, put it on a dyno and see (on paper) where oyu're making power. Or even go run someone with a similar setup and compare.
The shitty thing about having a fast car is that it'll never seem fast enough...it's like an adiction that must be constantly fed

yup. after 6000 rpms, is when I really feel it pick up. But before that its a little lag.

what ecu are you running, i am useing a skunk2 race chip and mine feels like it lags alittle on the low end, but its cool, and yea you get use to the car in a week and you need to dump out more $$$ to feel more speed, its a constant addiction
To quote the F&F "Their's nothing more addictive than speed"
Maybe the only line of fact in the whole damn movie, just don't fry your piston rings shooting to much nos

I am running a p72 ecu, yeah its got a little slow response when in low rpms, but it picks up in higher rpms. 51/2-8rpms.
Also I the motor is basically stock except for exhaust.
Thats probably one of the reasons.

Are you driving the hell out of it as soon as you start it up? If so, you should let it warm up a bit before driving it hard.
Well your car feels slugish in first and second when? When you are cruising or you are racing? GSR Vtec will kick in at 5500 rpm. So from there on is where you feel the most power pulling of course. I'd agree with getting a dyno and find out where your power is. If nothing else get a lightened flywheel. That will make you rev faster and get the car going. Otherwise it probably is that you got used to the speed already and its not fast enough for you anymore. Hahahaha, yup speed is an addiction.

Try 4400 rpm on a stock gsr ecu for vtec crossover.
