something about civics
HX is the fuel economy tuned version.
on the engine side it has a 115bhp (claimed, but i think they are lying) VTEC-e 1.6L 4 cylinder
looks very close to the EX motor, but on closer observation they are very different.
you see, the HX motor has a slightly higher lift/duration cam than the EX (after 2800rpm) and it also has something other civics dont have ROLLER ROCKERS.
I think it is Spade who can explain this more in depth.
Speaking from experience, if you want a civic coupe i would get a HX, power windows/door locks, no sunroof, i ran a 15.6@86 (when i was n/a) with JUST a AEM INTAKE and a 5ZIGEN MUFFLER NOTHING ELSE.
The HX in my opinion has everything you would want in a civic, and doesnt have things you dont need (i.e sunroof)
theres some other little differences but thsoe are the main ones.
