where you guys mount your honata boxes?
i was wondering where everyone mounts there boxes ?
The only place i could find to m ount mine were the wiring would reach to was the passesnger side kick panel? its on the outside so i can easily access the ports for it .
Also anyone else have problems with the little plastic jacks for the shift light and clutch switch not staying on?just the littlest tesntion cassues the plugs to come off?
i tried to resolder the pins so they weere more spread apart to hold the plug in , but still does it

yes it was. i just ran the wire from the ecu under the dash into the glove compartment area. i didnt want to have it showing off to everyone plus i didnt want to take the risk of someone kicking it accidentally.
hmm , ill have to try that , i didnt want m ine showing either, but the wires didnt look long enough last time i tried it .
also wanted easy access to the port for laptop hookup .

Mine was long enough to mounts in my glovebox..and there's still mad space in the glovebox for crap..including original instruction manual, 3 guages, work out gloves, 3 pens, a pocket knife, a flash lights, and a screwdriver..lol
ya mines in my glove box. i drilled a hole through the plastic and pulled the wires through. its kinda a tight fit but it fits nicely.

Mine is ziptied to the main harness going into the OBD II -> OBD I conversion harness.

Here are some pics, its dark outside so that is why the pictures arent the best in the world but you get the idea. For the prelude, i had to notch out the top plastic part out. The funny thing was the area that was cut out was pre-molded as a cut out shape and the hondata fit PERFECTLY in that region of the glovebox.
Newer cables are longer. I don't like the idea of cutting and extending. It will disturb the flow of data.
