Default where you guys mount your honata boxes?

i was wondering where everyone mounts there boxes ?
The only place i could find to m ount mine were the wiring would reach to was the passesnger side kick panel? its on the outside so i can easily access the ports for it .
Also anyone else have problems with the little plastic jacks for the shift light and clutch switch not staying on?just the littlest tesntion cassues the plugs to come off?
i tried to resolder the pins so they weere more spread apart to hold the plug in , but still does it

yes it was. i just ran the wire from the ecu under the dash into the glove compartment area. i didnt want to have it showing off to everyone plus i didnt want to take the risk of someone kicking it accidentally.

these wires could be cut and extended, if not long enough for where you want to relocated it in your car.

Newer cables are longer. I don't like the idea of cutting and extending. It will disturb the flow of data.

Mine was long enough to mounts in my glovebox..and there's still mad space in the glovebox for crap..including original instruction manual, 3 guages, work out gloves, 3 pens, a pocket knife, a flash lights, and a screwdriver..lol

Mine is ziptied to the main harness going into the OBD II -> OBD I conversion harness.
I have no kickpanel on and it works well enough ahaha.

Here are some pics, its dark outside so that is why the pictures arent the best in the world but you get the idea. For the prelude, i had to notch out the top plastic part out. The funny thing was the area that was cut out was pre-molded as a cut out shape and the hondata fit PERFECTLY in that region of the glovebox.

J&S Safeguard on the left, Hondata on the right, J&S monitor in the middle and the white boxes are for my Greddy Peak/Hold Warning gauges.

new cables need to be properly soldered and insulated, then, good to go. with proper wires its either signal or no signal.
